roadbikereich asked: Best show I've ever been to was the Beartrap/Caulfield tour. Where Caulfield played as backing for Mike (of Beartrap) and Mike played bass for Caulfield. It was absolutely intense. Considering BT is one of my favorite fastcore bands, and Caulfield is my favorite sludge/stoner band. Caulfield is from Sacramento, and I know they tour the area a lot. They're definitely worth seeing if you haven't before. A total wall of sound. Pretty deaf after the show.
I know Beartrap came to Arizona at least once, but I had work or something that prevented me from going. Definitely a sick band and I hear their live shows are absolutely nuts.
I actually saw Caulfield with Bone Dance and it was amazing. Luckily, I played the show so I had ear plugs, but it was still insanely loud so awesome.
I know they’re putting something out this year on A389 and I’m extremely excited for that. That band just dominates.
They’re doing a tour of Northern California, I just don’t know if they have anything going on down here in the LA area. It would be great to see them again.
